Phil Gammage

Phil Gammage is a New York-based roots and blues musician, songwriter, and recording artist best known for his eight solo album releases and his work as a songwriter, singer, harmonica player, and guitarist. The Texas native’s latest album is It’s All Real Goodfeaturing nine of Phil’s song compositions. This follows his critically acclaimed albums Used Man For Sale in 2016 and Adventures in Bluesland in 2014. He currently performs as a solo performer (2018 European solo tour) or with his full band The Phil Gammage Quartet. He has performed recently at such noted events as the Lancaster Roots and Blues Festival, CBGB Festival, and BluesCraft Summer Festival. Phil Gammage is the consummate live performer, who brings a unique depth and drama to his music.

Robin the Hammer

Robin the Hammer has been playing the Blues since the Jurassic period. In 1965 his group The Pterodactyls was a regular feature on WBAI. In the 70s he played with The Shivers at max’s kansas city, in the 80s his Bosco Blues Band was the first act to play CBGB calling themselves a Blues Band.  Since 1997 he has recorded and toured with The Five Points Band, a Woodstock outfit originally from Chinatown NY.

Lately The Hammer has been playing mostly acoustic Country Blues with Chuck Cornelis, string bass, and Carl Mateo on harmonica.

Chuck is a seasoned veteran with a  resume that includes Chris Isaak and Tongues On Fire, and Carl is the voice of The Mateo & Dougan Band, having been with The Hooligans for many years previously. (This is just a taste of where these guys have been!)

The set list includes a mix of RtH originals and classic country Blues by Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Skip James and many others., guaranteed to take you back a million years and rock your soul!
